If a patient withdraws, data collected prior to the withdrawal is kept and remains valid for use, as allowed under the applicable legal and ethical frameworks. If a centre withdraws from the ROSALIND study, Cure51 retains the data already provided but will stop receiving new data from that site. The legal basis for processing is Article 6(f) of the GDPR, i.e., CURE51’s legitimate interest in conducting research to improve cancer understanding, prevention, and treatment. Therefore, withdrawal of consent does not impact the data already collected.
