Does the budget estimate represent your internal expenses or is it what you will pay to the Center for the patient enrolled?
Is the tissue sample shipping paid by you?
What are the costs covered by CURE51?
What is the invoicing plan?
CURE51 is committed to covering all the costs of the ROSALIND study.
These include the time dedicated to the study by the Principal Investigator and the Study Coordinator, the debanking fees, the administrative costs and eventual startup fees.
All the additional costs, such as IDH testing and shipping are also covered by CURE51 but they are not included in the Provider's budget. They will be invoiced separately.
NB: The budget is often provided for an estimated number of patients. CURE51 and the Provider agree on a fee per patient and the invoice will be adjusted with the actual number of patients enrolled.
Budget Structure
The budget is calculated based on:
The number of patients to be provided by the center
The estimated time required per task
Hourly salary rates of involved staff, based on international benchmarks
Biobank retrieval fee per sample
Applicable institutional overhead rates
This model ensures fairness, transparency, and competitiveness across all sites.
Tasks
The tasks include:
Patient identification
Creation of the patient profile and declaration of the patient sample on our eCRF platform called Patient Profile Platform (PPP)
Requesting the samples from the biobank where they are stored
Data entry of the patients’ information on the PPP by the study coordinator (such as medical record, diagnosis and treatment details etc.)
Check by the PI of the entered data
Invoicing Plan
The invoicing plan is the payment schedule. It is split into 2 invoices:
Invoice 1 will be paid once CURE51’s Lab receives all the samples (Outlier and Control patients)
Invoice 2 will be paid once all the data entry for all patients are completed on the PPP (CURE51's own eCRF)
Q&A
Can you confirm the number of estimated patients is 8? Is it fixed, or can more patients be enrolled? How would the 10% bonuses be calculated in this case?
The estimated number of patients is not yet finalized. We will have a more accurate figure before proceeding with the Site Initiation Visit.
Following the SIV, the site will have two months to send the samples for validation, and an additional month to enter the complete data into our eCRF, in line with the study milestones.
If additional patients are included within the first two months, the invoice including the bonus will be adjusted accordingly.
However, if further patients are added after the initial inclusions, their corresponding invoices will not be eligible for the bonus.
