In the ROSALIND study, patients who survived ≥5 years after the diagnosis of the metastatic stage for PDAC and extensive stage for SCLC are included.
The 1st line treatment is the first treatment after this diagnosis.
Example
If the patient had a PDAC initially diagnosed at a localized stage and underwent surgery followed by chemotherapy to reduce the risk of relapse, but later developed metastatic disease, the first-line treatment (1L) refers to the first therapy administered after the diagnosis of the metastatic stage — not the adjuvant chemotherapy received earlier
