Any remaining samples will be stored at the CURE51 Biobank for potential further processing, either in response to additional material requests or for future analyses.
The additional omics analyses are conducted within the scope of the ROSALIND study. The data and samples will not be used for any other purpose other than the ROSALIND study.
It should be noted that an investment of €5,000-€10,000 per patient is being made by CURE51 for the generation of the omics data.
The complete raw omics data generated from the samples provided by the partner center will be made available to that center at no cost. Access will be limited exclusively to data from the center’s own patients.
In light of the rapid technological advancements in the field, the preservation of any remaining samples for potential future analyses—such as single-cell epigenomics or metabolomics—would offer a valuable opportunity.
The partner center will retain full access to all data from future omics analyses and may use them freely for academic research purposes.
