To provide an initial estimate of long-term survivors among your patients, cases diagnosed between 2000 and 2019 may be considered (extending to 2021 for GBM). The date of diagnosis is preferably defined by the date indicated on the pathology report.
If direct access to the relevant database is not available, an estimate can be made based on the total number of patients diagnosed with the three target diseases. A survival rate of approximately 3% may be used as a reference for this calculation.
